About HAIG

Humanity Aid Initiative Group is a registered Community Based Organization (CBO) operating in Nairobi and Kakamega Counties. The Organization operates in the two Counties currently with all Non-Governmental Organization – NGOs, other Community Based Organization- CBOs, Faith Based Organizations- FBOs, Research and learning Institutions, National and Nairobi County Governments, Opinion leaders, Individuals involved or that have interest in promoting the interest of the most vulnerable members of the community targeting women and girls, youth, children and other special groups.

We are currently implementing three core programs: sports to nurture talent and address social vices; providing quality education; and gender/women empowerment through vocational training.

AMANI HOUSE SHELTER

Amani House Shelter is a flagship project of HAIG, providing a safe and supportive environment for vulnerable individuals. The Shelter serves as a center of transformation, where dignity, healing, and empowerment are prioritized.

GENDER EQUALITY & INCLUSION

HAIG envisions a society where every individual, regardless of gender, age, or background, enjoys equal rights. We work to dismantle barriers and equip women, youth, and minorities with tools for transformative change.

We mobilize communities around sports to nurture upcoming young talents and reach out with awareness messages about factors affecting the well-being of society.
